About this course
BSc (Hons) in Social Work. The programme includes two contrasting practice placements, one of 85 days in Year 2 and one of 100 days in Year 3. After completing the degree, graduates must undertake a pre-registration year in employment before becoming eligible for full registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council. The programme is recognised by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council and includes underpinning learning in social policy, psychology, sociology, and law.
