A level: CCC Applicants may satisfy the requirement for the final A level grade (C) by substituting a combination of alternative qualifications to the same standard as defined by the University.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Sociology, examining contemporary social issues in Ireland and globally. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, Ethics & Professional Practice, Social & Cultural Analysis, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Education can be studied as a minor, and placement opportunities in educational settings and professional work environments are available. The programme also offers international study abroad opportunities and concludes with an independent dissertation.
