About this course

BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing, combining clinical practice with animal health and welfare. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Clinical Skills, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme includes a minimum 1,680-hour placement in a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons registered training practice during the third year, followed by a final-year Research Project. Graduates may apply to register as a veterinary nurse with the RCVS.
