Entry requirements
GCSE: Grade C/4 in English and Mathematics, or equivalent. Tariff points: 120 Contextual tariff: See our contextual offers page. English Language Requirement: International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 with 6.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*). *The university accepts a large number of UK and International Qualifications in place of IELTS. Relevant subjects: Subjects that meet the Science/Social Science requirement for this course: Biology, Applied Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Health and Social Care, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Applied Science, Science (Biology route), Science (Chemistry route), Science (Physics route), Science in Society, Sociology, Sport and Physical Education, Sports Studies. BTEC: You'll need a minimum of five units in a Science or Social Science Subject. You may be asked to do more based on the size of your units. Baccalaureate IB: A minimum Grade 5 in a Higher Level Science or Social Science subject. We accept the IB Career-related Programme in conjunction with other Level 3 qualifications. Irish Highers: H2 in a Science or Social Science subject. Welsh Baccalaureate: We accept tariff points achieved from the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales in conjunction with other Level 3 qualifications. This qualification cannot be used to satisfy any subject specific entry requirements. Cambridge Technical: You'll need a minimum of five units in a Science or Social Science Subject. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography, combining clinical practice with medical imaging science. Core topics include Ethics & Professional Practice. The course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the College of Radiographers (COR). Roughly half of the course is spent on clinical placements across NHS and private healthcare settings.
