About this course
BA(Hons) in Sociology and Law, examining the relationship between legal systems and the sociology of crime. Core topics include Research Methods, Legal Analysis, Communication & Writing, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme prepares students for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and can include modules covering the academic requirements for the Bar Training Course. Students choose from optional modules in their second and third years, allowing them to focus on law, criminology, or both.
