About this course

BA in Film Studies, a film studies degree centred on global film and television cultures, film history, and moving image analysis. The course covers the foundations of film and television theory, criticism, and national screen cultures, with opportunities to specialise in later years and undertake a specialist film production module in the final year. Students investigate how moving images connect to history, politics, philosophy, sociology, and the visual arts through both conventional essays and practice-led learning.
