BSc Adult Nursing with Foundation
Entry requirements
32 UCAS points required from level 3 qualifications. GCSE English and Maths (grade 9 – 4 / A* - C) or Level 2 equivalents. Please note - successful completion of the foundation year is required, to progress to year 1 of the course. If your prior qualifications were awarded overseas and you intend to satisfy Level 2 English language requirements through an English Proficiency Test, you must achieve scores comparable to IELTS 7.0 in speaking, reading and listening and 6.5 in writing.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Adult), preparing students for NMC registration as an adult nurse. Core topics include Clinical Skills, Research Methods, Communication & Writing, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Human Behaviour. The four-year programme includes a foundation year and practice placements in acute and community settings. A final-year dissertation module develops research skills focused on enhancing patient outcomes.
