Entry requirements

32 UCAS points required from level 3 qualifications. GCSE English and Maths (grade 9 – 4 / A* - C) or Level 2 equivalents. Please note - successful completion of the foundation year is required, to progress to year 1 of the course. If your prior qualifications were awarded overseas and you intend to satisfy Level 2 English language requirements through an English Proficiency Test, you must achieve scores comparable to IELTS 7.0 in speaking, reading and listening and 6.5 in writing.

About this course

BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult), an undergraduate programme in adult nursing practice. Core topics include Research Methods, Clinical Skills, Communication & Writing, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Human Behaviour. The four-year course includes an integrated foundation year and field-specific practice placements in acute and community settings. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
