Entry requirements
112 UCAS points required from level 3 qualifications. These can include: A Levels at grade B, B and C, or above BTEC Extended Diploma with Distinction, Merit, Merit Access to HE Diploma International Baccalaureate T Levels Your Level 3 qualifications must include one science subject. You also need GCSE English, Maths, and two sciences or double science (grade 9 - 4 / A* - C) or Level 2 equivalent.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences, covering plant and animal biology, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, and ecology. Core topics include Data Analysis, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The course includes a team-based project in the second year and an individual final-year research project, with findings presented at a course research conference. The programme is accredited on an interim basis by the Royal Society of Biology.
