Entry requirements
120 UCAS points required from level 3 qualifications. These can include: A Levels at grade B, B and B, or above BTEC Extended Diploma with Distinction, Distinction, Merit Access to HE Diploma T Levels Subject areas must include mathematics , plus a further one from: biology chemistry design and technology further mathematics ICT physics computer science computing geography Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted. You also need GCSE English and Maths (grade 9 - 4 / A* - C) or Level 2 equivalents.
About this course
MEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, covering the design and management of buildings, infrastructure and the built environment. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course is professionally accredited and is an integrated programme combining undergraduate and Masters-level study. An individual research project and an integrated group design project allow applied investigation of civil engineering problems in the final years.
