Entry requirements

104 UCAS points required from level 3 qualifications. Normally in a minimum of two subject areas. We expect a percentage of these to be at GCEA/VCE A Level. Points generated by GCE AS/VCE AS Level and Key Skills qualifications will be considered. GCSE English and Maths at Level 4 or above (or equivalent) IB Points: 26 BTEC National Diploma: Pass Access: Pass. You do not need to have a background in fashion necessarily, however, it is important to demonstrate the following attributes upon application: Commitment and interest in the fashion subject area Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate Ability to research and complete tasks Can interpret and organise information Can work in a team Demonstrate career aspiration/ambition via portfolio/sketchbook development and/or a personal statement Knowledge of current affairs and debates in the fashion industry. Applicants may be asked to submit a sample of written or portfolio work to be shortlisted for a place.

About this course

BA (Hons) in Marketing and Fashion Design. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, Project Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme offers pathways in Buying and Management, Branding and Marketing, or Promotion and Imaging. A Major Negotiated Project is completed in the final year, and a Professional Development and Industry Practice module supports placement opportunities with industry clients.
