Entry requirements

Applicants need to achieve: A minimum of three GCSEs at grade C+/4 (or equivalent) which must include an English-based subject, Mathematics and Health and Social Care or Science subject. Equivalent qualifications include Key Skills level 2; Learn Direct Level 2 and Functional Skills Level 2. Sciences at GCSE could include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Health and Social Care or Physical Education Please note we do NOT accept GCSE Short Courses or GCSE Equivalence Tests from other institutions or organisations. Plus Either 120+ UCAS points A Levels: BBB from three A Levels including a Science subject e.g. Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Education, or Social Science (e.g. Health & Social Care, Psychology) Excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking and Extended Project T Levels: Equivalent to 120+ UCAS points in Health or Healthcare Science BTEC QCF Extended National Diploma at a DDM or above in a Science based subject such as Sport and Exercise Science, Health Science or Applied Science Access to HE Diploma (60 credits) : of which a minimum of 45 must be at Level 3 (120 UCAS point equivalence, minimum 30 credits at distinction) in Health or Science subject. If applying with an Access course you only need GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade C/4 or above or accepted equivalent.
