About this course
BSc (Hons) with Foundation Year in Nursing (Child), covering the principles of care for children and young people. Core topics include Communication & Writing and Ethics & Professional Practice. The foundation year builds knowledge of anatomy and fundamentals of care while easing the transition to degree-level study, and students learn alongside other healthcare professions. Clinical simulation and practice learning modules run throughout, with placement opportunities in the final three years across hospitals, schools, clinics, hospices and community settings.
