A level: AAB IB: 35 points BTEC: DDD We consider a range of BTEC qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications. About this course
BA (Hons) Business and Management with German (with a year in industry), a Business Management degree focused on organisational principles and German language studies. Core topics include Research Methods, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Students complete a mandatory third-year professional placement embedded in a German-speaking environment. The first year establishes core knowledge through modules such as Introduction to Business Ethics and Sustainability, Business Accounting, Marketing Principles and Practice, and Understanding German-speaking Cultures and Societies (Post A-level). Year two explores organisational dynamics via Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Behaviour in Organisations, Employee Relations, and German Language and Cultures: Advanced, with options including The Berlin Republic. The final year involves advanced study through Management in the Twenty-First Century, Responsible Business and Management: Accountability in the International Political Economy, and German Language and Cultures: Proficient. Optional final-year modules span numerous areas like Supply Chain Management, Company Law, and a Dissertation.
