About this course
BA (Hons) in Business and Management (with a year in industry), a business management degree centred on organisational practice and commercial strategy. Core topics include Research Methods, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete a professional placement year between the second and final academic years. The first year covers foundational concepts through Business Accounting, Intro to Business Ethics and Sustainability, and Marketing Principles and Practice. The second year focuses on operational and organisational themes through Management of Human Resources, Project and Operations Management, and Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. The final year allows specialisation through optional modules such as Business Consultancy Project, Dissertation, and Company Law, alongside advanced study in topics like Supply Chain Management and Managing Diversity.
