About this course

BA (Hons) Business and Management with Spanish (with a year abroad), a business management degree centred on commercial theory combined with Spanish language studies. Core topics include Research Methods, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Students spend the third year abroad studying at another university or undertaking a Spanish-speaking work placement or internship. The first year introduces foundational themes through modules such as Introduction to Business Ethics and Sustainability, Business Accounting, Research in the Age of Disinformation, and Marketing Principles and Practice, alongside language modules. The second year examines workplace dynamics through Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Behaviour in Organisations, Employee Relations, and Strategy, Management and Society, with optional modules including Multiple Identities in 21st Century Spain. The final year focuses on advanced leadership and accountability through compulsory studies like Management in the Twenty-First Century and Responsible Business and Management: Accountability in the International Political Economy.
