About this course

BA (Hons) Philosophy, Politics and Economics, a degree in the subject areas of Economics and Politics and International Relations and Philosophy. Core topics include Research Methods, Policy Analysis. The course is taught across three academic departments and includes a final-year dissertation. The first year covers core foundations through Principles of Economics and Quantitative Methods. The second year introduces dedicated interdisciplinary study through Topics in PPE. In the final year, students complete a compulsory PPE dissertation. Optional modules across the programme span areas such as Microeconomic Theory, Applied Ethics, International Economics, and European Union Politics.
