A level: AAB IB: 35 points BTEC: DDD We consider a range of BTEC qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications. About this course
BSc (Hons) Accounting, Business Finance and Management, a business management degree focused on financial disciplines, corporate strategy, and operational leadership. Core topics include Accounting, Financial Analysis, Control Systems, Research Methods, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme holds professional accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, the Association of International Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. The first year introduces foundational subjects through Introduction to Accounting, Finance Fundamentals, Business Economics, and Quantitative Analysis in Management. The second year progresses to advanced concepts with Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Intermediate Management Accounting, and Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship, alongside optional modules such as Management Information Systems and Audit and Assurance. The final year comprises compulsory studies in Advanced Financial Reporting, Financial Markets and Investments, and Contemporary Issues in Accounting and Finance. Students can further tailor their studies through numerous optional modules covering taxation, company law, behavioural finance, or complete a Dissertation.
