About this course
BSc (Hons) Marketing (with a year in industry) is a marketing degree focusing on strategic principles and commercial operations. Core topics include Research Methods, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme includes a professional placement year in industry and holds accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. The first year introduces foundational subjects through modules such as Marketing Essentials, Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Research, and Marketing Communications. The second year progresses to advanced themes via Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Branding Strategies, Digital Marketing and Analytics, and Sustainable and Ethical Marketing. Optional modules in the second year cover areas like Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation and Creativity within Organisations. The final year centres on core studies including B2 B Sales and Negotiation, International Marketing Strategy, and Strategic Marketing Consulting.
