Entry requirements

A level: AAB including A in Mathematics IB: 35 points including Higher Level 6 in Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations) BTEC: DDD plus grade A in A level Mathematics (or equivalent qualification) We consider a range of BTEC qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications. About this course

BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Management, a mathematics, operational research, statistics and economics and business management degree centred on quantitative business analysis. Core topics include Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Financial Analysis, and Accounting. The programme spans three years of full-time study and integrates analytical techniques with organizational theory. The first year covers the foundations through Foundations and Calculus, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Introduction to Accounting, and Business Economics. The second year progresses with Strategic Management, Linear Algebra, Financial Modelling with R, and Statistical Inference and Linear Models. The final year includes compulsory study in Mathematical Finance in Discrete Time, Decision Theory and Bayesian Statistics, and Operations Research. Optional modules allow students to explore subjects such as Company Law, Sustainability and Business, and Supply Chain Management.
